About Us

Our StorY

The Montana Coalition to Solve Homelessness (MCSH) started in January 2022. It brings together a 14-member executive committee and over 60 partners to promote policies that ensure dignity and shelter for all Montanans.

During our four years, we successfully organized, shaped the public narrative, secured $5 million in first-of-its-kind legislative funding for emergency shelters, and expanded the availability of Medicaid dollars to support housing as healthcare. There’s more work to do, and we have an ambitious plan for building on that success.
